About the event

There are an estimated 10 million stateless people (mostly in the Asia-Pacific region) who are in “legal limbo”: no access to education, employment, housing, medical care, no legal capacity to own property, open a bank account, marry or register the birth of their child. They are at risk of exploitation, human trafficking, arrest and indefinite detention.

Register and come along to the Later Law Students’ Network evening to find out what role Australia can play, and chat with our special guests in an informal environment over drinks and finger food.
